Virb

I'm a bit annoyed by changes at Twango, so I set up a Virb page. It has a bunch of stuff you've heard already, with the addition of two new tracks (Sammie and Sampatico). Extra credit to anyone who can tell me what's happening in Sampatico.

No, but it's a good idea. I do want to start using trumpet for pitch-to-cv, FM, AM and someday vocoding. The album that I come up with will be trumpet heavy.

At first the tracks would play on the web page regardless of the file format. Now it seems that only mp3's will play and other files get downloaded. But when I loaded an mp3, it was pitch-shifted down. Someone with more computer knowledge could probably get it to work, but I don't see the point of fiddling with it if something else works better.

i like playlist.com

i'll probably replace the player on virb with mine.

you can put a ton of tracks on there that span pretty much any length. of course i'm just putting mp3's up. i don't really believe in giving away decent wav files. that's what the EP and future releases are for.

I've added a track entitled improvisation to my page, http://www.virb.com/1809119030172626
It was made using electric piano, electric guitar and electric bass, and none of those dumb ass synthesizers I've been hearing about lately, except for the Metasonix TM5/TM3 processing of the bass, and the complete warping of the piano and guitar with the Modcan CV Recorder. It is now also possible to download the tracks.
