Title says it all really... I was SHOCKED to discover Screwfix didn't have anything suitable.. eek!

I get mine from Bitsbox

These work in both Doepfer and AS cases and have the benefits of having a rubber washer, so no rack rash, and are cheap as chips and look OK.

Cheers fellas! SlayerBadger!

reggiechacha did you go for the 10mm or the 6mm?

I thought I read somewhere they had to be 8mm...?

I get my pretty hexnut ones (and washers) from Synovatron

great guy and fast service 8_)

If you use washers 6mm are too short. also if you have a monorocket type case with sliding nuts and use washers, 8mm is too short if the module face is thicker than usual.

Whereabouts is the page for the screws on that site, I can't find them lol.

I get the 6mm ones but I don't use washers.
Monobass
I have a bunch for kits but I'm going to be stocking them separately on Thonk soon. Probably 8mm...
Dubka
If I never see the words "thonk" and "soon" in the same sentence ever again, it will be too soon... wink

How about "RLS" and "available now" instead?

Rockin' Banana!

If I had the power to make that happen today, I would have, I don't hihi

Just search eBay Business, Office & Industrial section for "M3" and the length you want, 10mm or 12mm. There will be hundreds of suppliers.

Sorry they are not on the blogsite (that is in serious need of updating) - I mainly have them for my modules and I mention in the module User Handbooks to contact me if you you want more of the same.

My modules all come with 8mm long M3 stainless steel cap head socket screws and thin nylon washers AND a 2.5mm hex key (Ikea started it!). 8mm in my mind is the best compromise that deals with panels ranging from 2mm to 3mm in thickness whilst engaging enough threads and not bottoming out. PM me for price/availabilty.

Here's what they look like:-

Model Fixings have just about every permutation of screw you'd want.

SamUK mate, that's a great link! Just bought some. Cheers

How about "should, I go to the chippy for tea?"

I used Boltbase (on eBay). Really quick service and they do every type of bolt head, length, etc. I recently replaced all my bolts with he bolts. thumbs up

Forgot to say they also do nylon washers . . . .
Altitude909
What I like to do is to use M2 nylon washers on M2.5 hex head screws. You can get them on with a little work and then they stay on forever. Look nice and tidy too
