Alesis Micron + Reverb.

here is one of the tracks part 2.mp3

The rest can be streamed and downloaded

There is also another release "Freeze Mode" that was done in the same way, but is a little more random.

Tell more. What tricks do you recommend as avenues of experimentation on the Alesis Micron for *noise* making? Do you mean ambient noise drones? Do you mean harsh squeals? Percussive klanging?
ehr
no problem, george.

All the sounds (except reverb) on both releases are from the micron. So for examples of squeals, squelches and klanging kind of sounds check out "Freeze Mode", for droney tones, the other set is better.

I don't really have any tricks,. I do like using "voice random" "sample and hold" and lfos set to different speeds as modulation sources, but that common. I also like to set the amp envelopes to loop and then modulate the attack time a little and the decay time alot. There is other stuff I like to do, but it's nothing new or anything.
