VCO inputs

Post by slow_riot » Sun Jun 16, 2013 4:21 pm

just dug up an interesting fact from the Yahoo group... Gary Chang mentions that he uses both the 1v/oct input and the FC2 for scaled frequency changes on the oscillator modules.

I've been pondering the possibility of modifying my sequantizer to have a separate output so you could use the transpose as well as having a the original non transposed outputs, but this possibility makes this unnecessary.

do you want to say a bit more? Not sure what this is doing? And by FC2 do you actually mean the attenuated FC1 input on the oscillators?

basically that there are 2 useable 1v/oct inputs on the oscillators.

quite useful for FM patches or other instances where you want to use transposition but also want access to the 'root' notes.
