| br>Last year I got to know the guys of Kinetik Laboratories, an Italian duo that designs and prouduces some quite impressive machine. The three I have have a distinctive sound, that differe from all the other machines I have and have a really nice/professional looking design.
I have the little harsh noise generator, that is on of my favourite machines to place at the beginning of my stomp-box chain. It has two working modes, both of which creates interesting pattern.
Then I have the amazing MOT-Machine, a massive noise box that creates impressively violent frequencies, with compolext textures with a VERY rich sound.
one of the few machines I have I almost never edit afterward. Quite impressive purchase, too bad it is sold out now.
and last but not least, their latest creation, the GORT, a pulsating beast, that creates very interesting pattern that can be easily used for hysterically pounding backing tracks, reminding me of some stuff a ala Haus arafna, Maska magnetika, etc.
Its best features come with low frequencies.
This is their demo at this Year synth meeting in Turin (IT)

| br>Sorry to reply on such an old thread...Have been considering purchasing a few Kinetik things recently. Particularly like the sound of the Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde and the Ill Logic looks like it could do a lot. Any idea what is being used in the drone demo video? br> br>
| br>From left to right I'd say Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde, GORT, Harsh Noise Generator. I'm really really happy with my Dr.J/Mr.H. Stunning ambient sounds and the messy (Hyde) side of it is very interesting. br> br>
| br>Yes Demence, you're right.
We have made a new sound generator, check the video:
The PROTEAN Motion Texture Source is a compact device that incorporates three independent sound generators for the production of a wide variety of sonic environments with a ever changing expressive vitality.
All sound parameters can be modified through direct manipulation of the knobs allowing a direct, fast and intuitive performance.
The sound generators have complementary timbral characteristic covering all the frequency spectrum and may also be modulated by the two low frequency oscillators implemented in the circuit, generating hypnotic sounds which evolve over time.
Protean has three independent outputs, each with its own output level to allow further manipulation using external effects and may also be used in mono mode when in the needs of a reduced setup. br> br>
