Had a listen to the sound cloud clip - sounds great! I'd be interested.

after a lucky find of 4 sets of 84HP rack rails in my salvaged crap stash
have decided to build a four voice synth in euro.
so hell yeah in for four PCB's and panels.
Have finally succumbed to euro.
It probably wont happen today but if it does it definitely wont go smoothly.

Coming from Matt that means something! :hail:

Oh no, that's no good at all! (Except that it is. Euro DIY is so much more rich than it was when I got started... it's a great place to be as long as you have nimble fingers.) :hihi:

Guys, this isn't an order thread. I'll start a fresh one when the time comes. (SOON - maybe a week or two?) I will parse this one and transfer orders over, but no need to do that here. (I don't want to deal with 14 pages of preamble, then 10 pages of orders, then 5 pages of "received!" plus build information all in one thread.)

Experience has suggested I take an alternate approach. :hihi:

Do you have any spec for the front panel - hp mainly - I am sizing it up already

edit: I think I found it on modular grid actually: http://www.modulargrid.net/e/racks/view/65671

Loving how this sounds, sits just right in between Frequensteiner and A-124 Wasp :sb:

Cool, there is a sketch up on modulargrid.net, I stupidly changed the configuration and took it out after posting that link (in case you were wondering)

It's on my "desk" right now.

(Not really a desk since it's done in a CAD program, but you know what I mean. It's open in another window.)

At this point I could probably make a thread... in the ~4 weeks it takes to collect orders I should have all of the prototyping finished.

Where they cook it nice and slow for the flavor.
This one will be tasty!

:sb:

I got the control board done last night, everything's routed to two 12-pin inter-board connectors whose placement seems to work for the circuit on the second PCB. I've got that one 85% populated and 75% routed... at this rate I'll have my first prototype PCBs ordered by Friday, and - with luck - a working prototype sometime next week.
