Which Multimix Issue 5 Type do you prefer?

Post by TimeActor » Thu Jul 25, 2013 10:22 am

Hello to everybody,

i´d like to ask you which type of the multimix issue 5 do you prefer?
I have not use something similar before!
Use the three pots as a simple level control or better reversible attenuator?
What are the difference and the benefits?

Thank you!
Martin

Reversible attenuator is better. The only drawback is that you have only half of the pot´s travel for "positive" attenuation, in my opinion that is still plenty enough. I often want to invert and attenuate a CV.

I dont use more than 2 oscillators and sometimes noise at the moment so reversible every time for me, its just another tweakable element added to the module.

If I should ever end up mixing / summing outputs from multiple mixers into one, that mixer would be positive only.
If it ain't broke fix it till it is
