cv recorder

Post by sandyb » Mon May 05, 2008 1:49 pm

playing around with a cv recorder and motm/dotcom modular. i recorded 2 lfos at different speeds and then set the loop points really close together. these cvs went to the attenuated frequency inputs of 2 oscs to just wobble their pitches very slightly. it's a pretty random 4 minutes from nearly an hours worth.

curious about the cv recorder...when it loops, is there some kind of smoothing between the loop points, or is it a hard transition?

afaik there's no smoothing - it doesn't sound like it with audio anyway, which can get very glitchy (a good thing) depending on what you've recorded and where the loop start and end is set.
