I have literally hundreds of these which I got in a collection. I was wondering if they have any place in synth modules...?

Looks like a fairly generic PNP - I guess it could replace 2n3906 or such in circuits where the exact transistor type is not critical.

BC214 = TUP (Transistor Universal Pnp)

Sorry to bump a very old thread. I'm a long time lurker so this is also my first post.

To the OP, any chance you have some of these 214 lying around? I need a couple to replace a dead 214 in an old circuit.

Damn, an old post. I could use some BC214C types as well.
