A-117 Question 'bout sync

Post by Exuviae » Thu Nov 12, 2009 5:58 pm

Hello All-

Prolly a silly question, but I gotta ask:

If you give a "sync'd" clock to the external clock input, does it then output random clock that is still relative to the the "sync'd" source?

I.E. do you then get a randomized but still SYNC'D output? I figure so, but need to know.

Thanks!
Brooks

It then gives you a random "1" or a random "0" when you pulse it, effectively "removing" some of your pulses. So if you feed it a 16h note pattern it'll randomly give you a 16th note on the output, but not on every 16th note... just some.

no problem. FYI you can change the timing cap on the a-117 to get slower random "pops" without an input. I quite like it.
