DIY 6U case, need advice

Post by anselmi » Sat Nov 21, 2009 9:58 am

being so far from any case dealer the better way to me seems to get the electrical parts and build myself the rest

I need to know how hard is to assembly the electrical parts like power supply and distros...

Is the doepfer toroidal power supply the better way? does it has any important difference with the doepfer DIY kits?

In case that I got the toroidal one, what more I have to get apart from teh distros to get it works?

thanks a lot guys!

I am curious about that too!
Doepfer says it is to be done by engineers only, but ok.
I remember a thread in the diysection btw in which someone asked about this. Cant find it quickly on my iphone though sorry.
This one is maybe allso good to read.
(sorry frkn copypaste urllink doesnt work)
I guess you still need a little board with fuse, heatsinks and powerplug etc.
